The Program

Upon arrival on Friday, you will be greeted and taken care of for the rest of the weekend. In the event that a family member needs to contact you during the device-free weekend, we have a reachable number for your peace of mind. Our itinerary is designed to gradually immerse you in self-reflection, with personal time for meditation, light daily excursions, group workshops, activities, breath control, and nourishing meals. Whether traveling solo or with a companion, you are welcome to join us, and we also offer group retreats. If you have any inquiries, please do not hesitate to ask.

Throughout the weekend, Mary will lead a variety of mindfulness practices and workshops, including a workshop that explores the impact of our generational legacy and how it can be incorporated with the 4 noble truths of mindfulness. She'll also share her evidence-based learning on the importance of being mindful and the benefits it can bring to your life, as well as your family and community.

At our retreat, we believe that mindfulness is not just a personal practice, but a powerful tool for healing generational legacy. Many of us carry wounds, traumas, and patterns that have been passed down from our ancestors. These can manifest as limiting beliefs, self-sabotage, or destructive behaviors. By cultivating mindfulness and self-awareness, we can begin to recognize and heal these patterns, not just for ourselves, but for future generations.

Among them were painters Paul Henry, Charles Lamb, Derick Hill, Robert Henri, and the German Nobel Prize-winning author Heinrich Boll.

Most recently Achill’s stunning views have been shown all over the world with the filming of the highly acclaimed movie ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’ staring Brendan Gleeson, Colin Farrell, and Barry Keoghan.
