Welcome!
It is my dream to bring this retreat to Achill Island to give people a real opportunity to take care of themselves, find ways to self-support their well-being, and heal the many struggles that we face in today's world.
My extensive experience as a mindfulness practitioner and psychotherapist has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to guide you through a transformative experience that will help you reduce stress, increase self-awareness, and cultivate greater inner peace and well-being.
About Me…
I am a highly experienced Mindfulness Teacher with a Master in Mindfulness Based Interventions from UCD. Additionally, I have a psychotherapy background that informs my mindfulness teaching practice.
I am passionate about reducing mental health stigma and normalizing struggles. In fact, I recently returned to my native Achill Island to undertake an initiative of making a generational healing retreat available. The goal of this retreat is to heal generational trauma and help individuals identify the traits they bring down generations. I believe that when we change ourselves, everything changes. By being the change for our families, we can positively impact future generations.
I am a pioneer in bringing psychotherapy online over 12 years ago, now I have over 30 psychotherapists working for CounsellingOnline.ie.
About This Retreat
I will be supported by a team of individuals who will be there to ensure that everyone's needs are met and that the retreat runs smoothly. This team will include experienced practitioners and individuals with a passion for supporting others on their journey towards well-being.
During the retreat, you will have the opportunity to indulge in all your senses. The beautiful sights of Achill Island will be a feast for your eyes, while the amazing vegetarian food will nourish your body and soul.
I’m a firm believer in the power of food as medicine, and much of the produce used in the meals will be locally grown, including vegetables from her own garden.
